Meet Chasqui II
The student team that is making history in Peruvian aerospace engineering.
Our History
The Chasqui II project was born in 2018 at the National University of Engineering, with the goal of designing, building, and operating the first Peruvian CubeSat developed entirely by students.
Our name honors the legendary messengers of the Inca Empire, the Chasquis, who traveled great distances carrying vital information. Today, we carry that legacy to space.
We are a multidisciplinary team of more than 60 students from different faculties, united by the passion of taking Peru to space.
Our Mission
Develop aerospace capabilities in Peru through practical training of students in the design and construction of satellite systems.
Inspire new generations of Peruvians to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Our Vision
Become a reference for student aerospace development in Latin America, demonstrating that with dedication and teamwork, limits only exist to be overcome.
Leadership
